April's grave

I blow out the candle and close my eyes to sleep

But you know I can't do it I haven't for weeks

I guess I'll tell my story there's nothing left for me to do

So just listen to what I have to say and pray to God it never happens to you

I had this friend her life wasn't going just right

A month ago she died it was suicide

But hey, it'll never happen to you not even to one of your friends

That's what I thought too now see where I stand

April's grave, April's grave I come here often since she went away

If she could still talk I know what she'd say
