Our Feelings

I can't carry all of these things in my car so I'm leaving half of my life right there is the yard where you've thrown it

None of those things mean a thing to me it's just that look on your face that I can never unsee and you know it

Sealing my fate with the last time we meet under duress

All of the things I know now I just should have kept on my chest

A joker so lean and the ace that's his queen or at least how he sees it to be

A jester he is but the jokes they're not his and aimed at him they all seem to be

The obnoxious return of the scorned and the burned wanting to have their way

Their voices be heard as the truth in the world but it's not gonna be today

Smiling and laughter will reign through the night as I'm driving away
