Traveling Through Time

I'd climb up on a mountain if there was a mountain to climb

Though if I'm gonna be honest, there would have to be something good to find

Otherwise it would all just be a big old waste of my time

I would swing across a crevice on a questionable looking vine

Just to tell myself I understand that nothing is ever truly mine

And there ain't no going backwards when we're traveling through time

I would plant myself a forest just so sometimes I could leave the world behind

And I'd post a sign on every tree to make the world believe it all was mine

And trespassers would pass me by thinking I'm just sitting here and wasting all of my time
