Hello, my fellow decorated monkeys

You see these other monkeys will never understand what it means to be truly decorated

Robbed of joy

Never understood what true freedom was

Reading all the time

Trying to top all classes cos losing was a crime

Bullied and mocked cause our sights were covered in glasses

Passes was the closest we could get to sagging cos that was extremely below the belt

Fashion was never an option to be a passion

Music and dance was never given a chance

Expectations were high to do better and be better

Even in high school where teens had to be teens
