My present state kept invitin' my past

Cuz I seen that 40 proof sittin right in my path

I was drinking on the go I've spent my life with a flask

It reminds me of Dad now I'm just writin my wrath

I write when I'm sad, remember times when we laughed

Kept rewinding it back of all the times that we had

And that time that I cracked when you died in that crash
