I was talking about that this weekend,

I think two basic types of music indigenous to this country,

Are uhh the black music blues and the kind of folk music that was brought over from Europe.

I guess they call it country music or west Virginia high lonesome sound, those are the 2 mainstreams of root American music

Like uhh

Like uhh 10 years ago what they called rock n roll was a blending of those 2 forms

And i guess whats happening now is that rock is kind of dying out and everyones going back to their roots again. Some people are going back to country some of them back into basic blues

I guess in 4 - 5 years the new uhh generations music will be

Um it will have uh a synthesis of those 2 elements and some third thing,

It may rely heavily on electronics, umm tapes,

I can kind of envision maybe uhh one person with
