I lay awake at night asking God what really matters

Can you do a solid and turn me to a rapper

He filled me head with scripture

I said nah man not a pastor

He claiming fame and fortune don't lead to greener pastures

Ya I hear ya though that's not really what I'm after

I'm trying to reach cloud nine like being caught up in the rapture

He said hold my hand son

I'll show you something better

So instead of fighting back I react with pure intentions

Sorta lessons of my worldly ways left out of confessions

Horrible how my wordy ways have lead to transgressions
