Midnight Prayer

I'd never known how much longing I could do

Till the very first time I ever looked at you

Now every day when my work is through

Before I say a prayer for me, you know I say my prayers for you

To keep the human wolves at bay and to warm you in the frozen rain

To help you each and every day to ease you from your pain

And to ease you from the past. I pray your sorrow's over fast

That your friends will never let you down, and that our love always lasts
