Here I Am

I've been keeping my room clean, I've been making my bed

I've been going on long walks outside just to clear my head

I've been keeping a journal, count my blessings each day

I've been saying to myself the things I wished that you would say

When you left me I felt this aching in my chest

Who'd've thought that five months later I'd be doing the best I ever have

I've been saving my money, I've been making new friends

I've been working out one to four times a week, it depends

I've deleted the photos, stopped looking up your name

I gave permission to myself to stop playing these little games
