Chasing dreams, staying clean, one day at a time

Weight of the world on my spine as I brace for the climb

There's only peace that I'm seeking, which I'm anxious to find

Battle this train of thought, that web tangles my mind

I feel the tension slip away when I'm being productive

Was doing great, until intrusive thoughts interrupted

But that's how life goes, I've learn to overcome it

Walk the tight rope until I'm approaching the summit
