Blood smeared on my hands, a trail stained on the stone

I saw others at the bottom, now I'm climbing all alone

Chest close to the wall, one hand out to reach

Grab the mountain with my claws until I'm standing on the peak

Tears fall off my chin and splatter on the ground

I wonder if I'll slip and have the same journey down

I gotta be cautious, weigh out my options

No going back now, decision is locked in

Veins in my hands, arteries in my head

Popping out like they don't wanna be contained in my flesh

Coach myself like I don't think that I am playing my best
