painted reality

i knew for a while that these looks thrown at me were given by you

i admit that when i saw those eyes i was looking, too

you started to paint a picture of me, the colours seemed so real

all the details were so bright and true, you could almost feel

one eye, one look

you knew it was true, you knew it was good

we started to go out, on walks so long

we were walking on mountains, running around trees and the winter's sun gave us warmth

you started to believe that these things you were waiting for weren't only in your mind

and this picture was walking so close to you it seemed to become alive
