As they gather to watch the rise before the fall

I can't help but sense the feeling, anticipation after all

Who could miss out on the sense of occasion

The city looms, vague in distance, unsure

Is it a friend or a foe, I hedge my bets

I take my choice, I won the lottery

Now everybody asking me, damn man, why are you so lucky?

They are surprised when I tell them no, that this ain't luck

It is clear that I am not a lucky person

But I got a soul who is truly gifted with clarity
