Another day I've stayed alive each one takes me by surprise

Getting older, getting older and slower, and wondering where the time goes

Another day I've stayed awake thinking about all the things that stay getting

Sober and buying a case of beer, wondering where my money goes

Another day I've read the news another day gave me the blues

Getting older, preoccupied with government affairs

Can't understand the kids' homework making dinner and being a jerk

And I told her, I told her we'd never end up scared

Through the changes and low wages, we are living life

Disney dreams and nicotine we'll make it through the night
