I found her in the alley with her face growing white

Her heart had stopped beating life was drifting from her sight

I performed a little CPR

And she asked what I'd been doing at the scene of the crime

I said honey I'm just saving people's lives and killing time

So I took her to a restaurant and introduced the cook

I decided that this goddess might be worth a second look

And our eyes locked on each other through a candle and domestic wine

Giving birth to eager romance taking a chance and killing time
