It's just another day where I'm ready to drop I need the fluid so the thinking stops

Sleeping dry doesn't fulfill my rest I'd better drink now to get my rest

I'll drink my cider till I struggle to see Fermented juice from an apple tree

I numb my senses as a way to forget The constant need for my mind to reflect

It's just what I accept Addicted needs for it's side effects

I cannot understand the feeling we seek To numb our minds while the body's weak

Feelings of hate and sadness Just to stop yourself from feeling restless

Insomnia doesn't bother me Intoxicated sleep is all I need to dream

I lubricate my throat with booze I think it's starting to take its toll

My head can't handle the strain a growing problem that I can't contain
