End of the line

Lately words feel like numbers and I was never good at maths

Each day I feel even younger and I don't know what to think of that

Time goes by so quickly and I lose track of where I am

I can't tell what's hurting me and what was there when I began

I can see the end of the line coming closer but what will change when all of this is over

I don't know how I feel today, will I ever? At least I know that things are getting better

But really I'm lucky I've got family and love

And a place to call home and something to dream of

We can open the bottle that's been sitting on the side

Waiting for its moment, a chance to confide
