I lost myself on the road when I was barely sixteen

Then found my peace in the dark where I could never be seen

Maybe this world isn't good enough for me you see

Maybe the hole in my heart just needs a place to breathe

I watched you reach for the sun until you stopped to grow

You danced your way through the light, ignored the rain once more
