Black Clouds

I was wandering in my mind, black clouds of resentment clouding up my mind.

I would die for a good night's sleep, because I haven't slept for days.

All these activities seem futile, when I come to realize they're just means to gain comfort.

I know I exist for a reason.

If that reason would be enough to not sink into this darkness.

Swallowed up by a black hole hoping not to culminate in a singularity.

If empathy ceases to exist, do we still have sanity to keep each other alive?

I don't know, maybe I just stopped caring in the first place by then.

Please take these eyes. I don't wanna see the mess we've made.

There's only a blind spot left on the back of my head.
