Fake

I put potted plants on my desk,

But it just isn't the same as outside

I put lamps in every corner,

But it just isn't the same as sunlight

I put glow stars on my ceiling,

But it still isn't the same as that night

I need a break from all this fake

I got plastic in my blood for a sliver of convenience

I said that I'll get unplugged, but I'm addicted to my demons

And I say I want to change,

But I don't know what it takes
