There was a time when I opened my eyes and in the world all that I saw was pain

And I cried "Jah, how did we let this happen?! Oh I will change it by tomorrow day"

And I tried day by day to change the minds of mankind and make them feel this unbearable pain that I feel "AH!"

But the more that I tried, the more that I wasted away, and I'd say

"Can't you see? All of the systems that we live in, oh they tear us apart

God and they close up our hearts, don't give in

They rape the earth for the oil, the animals are in factories, and the soldier folk are setting off bombs!
