All my favorite songs are either sad as fuck or slow

So it's finally time that I had some of my own

Struggle with a dire lack of passion and control

Does any fuckin' thing even matter anymore

I just feel so hopeless in a pattern of emotions

Pitter patter of the loose screws rattle in my dome

A day will come fast that my sanity will shatter

It's a paper thin veil that I crafted while alone

Sometimes I'm a mess rage boils to the top

I can't keep the lid closed and I blow it off the pot

Had me thinkin' if I would be calmer off the pot

But to go against my grandstand would put me on the spot
