I Am

I led a flock up to the Mountain of God

There I beheld a sight exceedingly odd

I saw a bush was burning but it wasn't consumed

And from the fire came a voice and I knew

It was the Lord, the God of Abraham, the Maker of the heavens had come down

And he said Moses come remove your sandals, you are standing on holy ground

Holy ground

I've heard the cry of my people, suffering as slaves

I am the God who sets the captives free, the God who saves

And I will come down from heaven and I will break their chains
