We all have our choices, the paths we have to take

You found yours and scoffed at mine, and said "that's your mistake"

But the minute that red sunset on that ever fateful day

I bet you cursed your selfish pride, and regret its full display

Don't you ever say my name and say that I never heard your plea

Your incessant need to lie is charged by your jealousy of me

It's so pathetic, I'm apathetic to your intolerance of my success

This isn't how I wanted it to be, but I digress

Set aside your jealous pride and look at how it all turned out
