Our mutual friend called to tell me you officially lost feelings

And what was I to say but me too

I think we all hold a place just in case someone comes back to us

So this felt like goodbye but for real this time

It's not uncommon to daydream about people you once knew

Or reminisce about times when it was me and you

I don't miss the times you called my name and asked me to stay just a little bit longer

I don't miss the times you walked me home so we could kiss along the road but passed my house to wander

I don't miss you or your feelings

That you're no longer feeling

Or the care that you once gave
