Stuck In Reverse

What's this feeling of solitude in a crowd?

Of hurting without wounds?

Of brutally longing for nothing at all?

I want to do what's right, but it comes out all wrong

I sit watching TV for hours, when it was off all along

Like playing a one string guitar, or taking pictures off the floor

It's not exactly appeasing and there should be something more

I urge to fill the room with my voice, but what should I say?

Besides, it'll probably just sound like some other cliché

Outside the weather's nice, but I'd rather stay inside

Not that it really matters - not that I want to hide
