Darkness looms above the soul inside the lightest of the days

Monsters creep inside the covers beneath the bed in which you lay

What if I ever told you that I like to play inside of the darkest rounds

Hide the way you like to cover your face inside the sheets upon a stormy night

Oops I think I might have stumbled on a fancy dream from afar

You heard the nails scratching on the wall but nobody's there

You got up to drink your water but there's already a glass there
