Can you tell me about your musical journey

Sure, so It all started when my parents sent me to a music school when I was 6 years Old

I grew up having to go there during all my childhood and that was my first taste of music

But unfortunately I really hated it

Then, during my teenage years

I developed an addiction to video games and because of all the problems I had because Of that

I decided one day to quit for good

And so suddenly I had to look for something to replace that addiction

That's when I rediscovered music, that was in May 2013 and

I started recording music and started composing under the name of Schiltorn

In reference to a Swiss mountain

I really liked it. I mean you can not believe how much I love creating music

It's like when i'm in the zone, nothing else matters

Unlike video games it gave me the feeling of building something real

Something that lasts way more than levels or experience in video games right

Like you turn your computer off, and its like oh shoot i wasted hours of my life for like Nothing at all 

So when I was 16, I changed my plans, putting music as a new priority for my future

And because I knew that it was not possible to live off my music

I mean, the chances are extremely low so

I set myself the goal of one day becoming a audio engineer or sound designer

So from there, I produced a lot of music in many different musical genres to improve my CV

For example, I composed, Folk, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Electro House, Future Bass, Opera Ambient

Lots of different stuff

In November 2018, I noticed that people started to be interested in what I was doing

With all the music I've put out on Bandcamp

And so I had a switch

I realized the necessity of making music that I like and love and feel passionate about

And not just music that looks good on paper for an audio engineer

I was tired of not having an identity, and I finally decided to gather the styles I liked the Most into one

Under the name C4C. And from there, God started to open the gates

And what does C4C stands for?

C4C stands for "Creations for Christ"

I am Christian, and Jesus Christ holds a very important place in my life

He made me a new man

And I want to use the passion he gave me, to return the favor, for all the things He has Done for me

He accepted me as I am with all my mistakes

He gave me the greatest gift of all, which is forgiveness, and here I am born again

When at night I suddenly have a melody or an idea, I can only thank God, and yeah

That's why I wish that the music of C4C points to him

I pray that it can give some peace of mind to the listener

And can somehow make someone's day a little bit better
