What if I was someone else?

Floating in obscurity

Would I write a song?

How would it go?

Possibilities take up all my time

But I'd rather lay here

Watchin' the TV

Telling me who I am

And who I should be

But that wall still looms over

Telling me what to do

Telling me I'm useless

My mind's a shred my thoughts are askew

I've been thinking lately

To climb that damn wall

But they don't sell ambition

In a kiosk at the mall
