Second Corinthians, chapter five, verse seventeen

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ-

He is a new creation-

Old things have passed away-

Behold, all things have become new

R I P the old ways, I'm set free

Used to go back to old me, but now I see

Old me was lost and old me believed that-

He had everything

He ain't need God; he had all he dreamed

He still wanted more so he lusted things, turned around and his sin broke everything

Over the years, his faith got smaller

Repeating his steps he loved to wander, alone

Distanced himself from his family and friends to make sure that no one get in

Lying and cheating he loved doing sin

Starting smoking to heal himself, but in himself, he wasn't unwell, life an L

Everything was all broken

Picked up the good book, gave it a good look, that day he was awoken

Made new in Christ, Once you with Christ, old things are dead, therefore, you have a new life

All this from God, the one who gave life, gave peace, gave a second through J. Christ

Didn't hold us guilty of our sins so he gave twice

Gave another chance just to walk in his light

New eyes, walking with God getting new sight

New way, fleeing from sin, blocking all lies
