Gyakie Wins Two Plaques for Boomplay Awards 2023

Each year, Africa’s biggest streaming service; Boomplay presents plaques to deserving Artists who have achieved milestone streams on the platform.

This year’s edition will see over 22 different Ghanaian Artists win plaques for their singles, albums and total streams on Boomplay.

Last yeart, Songbird Gyakie dropped a body of work which won the hearts of her fans in Ghana and Africa. Her second EP project titled “My Diary EP” proved to her fans her range of talent and ability to make music people just love to vibe with.

The EP featured hits like Something which inspired a viral dance on tiktok and Waka Waka which was a Raggae version of Gyakie we had never heard off.

A few days ago, Gyakie visited the Boomplay studios to receive two plaques for her hit song from last year ‘Something’ and a plaque for her debut EP, SEED.

The song bird was elated to be receiving the accolades and tanked her fans and her team for all the work.
