Lasmid Swooshes His Way to Win Two Boomplay Awards

Each year, Africa’s biggest streaming service; Boomplay presents plaques to deserving Artists who have achieved milestone streams on the platform.

This year’s edition will see over 22 different Ghanaian Artists win plaques for their singles, albums and total streams on Boomplay.

One of Ghana’s favourite male singers Lasmid has become the newest winner of Boomplay Awards taking away two plaques for his music on the platform.

Lasmid won an 30,000,000-stream plaque for his hit single Friday Night which was one of the most streamed songs on Boomplay Ghana for last year. He also picked up a plaque for his total streams on Boomplay which earned 50,000,000 streams on Boomplay.

Receiving his plaques at Boomplay studios, Lasmid thanked his fans from all over the world for supporting his music. He also promised to make more good music for his fans.
