Queen Wendy Shay Sets the Pace for Boomplay Awards 2023

Each year, Africa’s biggest streaming service; Boomplay presents plaques to deserving Artists who have achieved milestone streams on the platform. This year’s edition will see over 22 different Ghanaian Artists win plaques for their singles, albums and total streams on Boomplay.

The first Artist to receive her plaque is Wendy Shay who also topped the list of Most Streamed Ghanaian Female Artists on Boomplay Recap list for 2022.

Wendy received three plaques: 10 million streams for her hit song Survivor, 5,000,000 for her Shayning Star album and 50,000,000 stream plaque for her total Artist stream on Boomplay.

Receiving her plaques at Boomplay studios, Wendy Shay thanked her fans from all over the world for supporting her music. She also stated her love for her fans and promised to work harder to win more plaques from Boomplay.
