Black Air Force Activity

This is an ambitious project that is collaboratively worked and put together by two artists hailing from Chennai and Coimbatore, JBE and Dacalty, with the main emphasis being about the damage that can be done, when we let fear into our lives.

Fear makes us doubt, doubts in-turn lead one to have lesser trust within oneself which in-turn reduces the much-needed confidence required to take on the challenges that life throws at us.

The darker theme of the album with the rumbling 808s and heavy drums signify the battle that is constantly being done everyday within us internally. So, when we battle against Fear and conquer that battle within ourselves, the person who does this becomes unstoppable, like this person ain't got nothing to lose, and he's out here making sure he conquers every odds, every obstacle, and he's just dead set on his path to greatness.

"Like this guy doesn't fear anything, like he's got that whole Black Air force energy, as how the slang comes up, for anyone who don't fear anything that comes his way."

In search for a better life, we try to control things that are external, whereas the only thing that we can ever control is our own mind where we learn to respond to situations that we come across. The EP features 4 songs penned with a bilingual English and Tamil lyricism on it, and south-side elements added to it pointing to the roots from where the artists come from.

A rapper with a taste for experimenting different styles, genres, sounds where he brings on a whole new level of energy with his versatility, where his lyrics are mostly aimed at his own personal struggles, beliefs, purpose debating around life choices where he depicts in his journey on how he learns to trust the process and learns to be aware of the choices and the consequences one make through the changes that one goes through in their life and to keep moving forward, even when life throws an unfavourable situation at your doorstep. From hard hitting smash hits to thought provoking general ideas through his raps, he continues to forge ahead and make a name for himself in his musical journey along with his crew Voltage B.
