Got Dibs

With a smile, Got Dibs first touched a piano key at the age of 3 in a small apartment in Warsaw, Poland. Learning to read music came naturally, and his early musical training, starting with piano and trombone in elementary school, solidified a deep appreciation of musicianship and music theory.
His DJ career began in his freshman year at UC Davis. His production style began to take form, a combination of future bass and hip hop, with a sprinkle of Big Room and Complextro at higher tempos.
The incorporation of live trombone at EDM concerts sets Got Dibs apart: he is a musician and multi-instrumentalist. After two years of underground events and functions, he made his first public performances in the second half of 2016. His incorporation of live trombone during concerts has led to comparisons to artists like Big Gigantic and Griz. He started DJing at G Street Wunderbar in Davis in May of 2017, and has since become a regularly-booked act, performing 20 times in his first year.
Got Dibs has opened for artists such as JayKode, Gent & Jawns, Squnto, Arius, and Xaebor. His Spring and Summer bookings are highlighted by a show at "Smoke on the Water" in Yolo county on 4/20, his 20th performance and 1-year anniversary at G Street Wunderbar on 5/5, and a VIP Silent disco slot at Sounds of Summer Music Fest 2018 on June 2013. His debut album (an EP) is in the works. "Domino Effect" Music video released 6/8/18.
