Evrod Cassimy is an R&B/Pop singer/songwriter and TV news anchor in Detroit, MI. At the age of three his parents encouraged him to sing in church and that's where his love for music began. He continued to sing and eventually write music as a teen and in college. With a love for writing, he studied journalism in college with a dream of become a TV News Anchor and a singer/songwriter. While he began his dream on TV, his music dreams would eventually come to a complete halt.
Early in his news career he was told he was no longer allowed to sing or write music. Evrod obliged but the desire to sing and write was also there. After a ten year hiatus, his news career took him to Detroit, MI. It was time to get back to writing and recording music in Motown.
