As Canadian singer and songwriter Eryn Martin has learned firsthand, sometimes destiny just needs a little push to really get moving. In 2017, a song she had intended to keep private made its rounds online after a close friend decided to take the liberty of uploading it to SoundCloud. After witnessing the track, simply titled “$,” take off, the Brampton native took it as a fated sign to keep exploring her talents and developing her sound as a recording artist.
After experiencing early success with her 2017 debut single, "Trip," she released her first formal EP, EDOG, in 2018. The project, which featured production from frequent collaborator CVRE, helped introduce Eryn to a larger audience, especially capturing the attention of a like-minded, laid-back audience. Her emotive, experimental vocal delivery and atmospheric soundscapes are magnetic, helping connect others who may be marijuana enthusiasts, such as Eryn, or overall drawn to those who follow their own paths without compromise.
