Vince Harder is an RnB Pop Artist Based in New Zealand who has also been a principal and ensemble member in major broadway theatre shows that have toured in Australia and New Zealand like The Lion King and Jersey Boys.
His love for music began as a young boy growing up listening to his mother sing and play the piano well known country songs. He loved sitting next to the record player at home listening to bands like the Bee Gees and Stevie Wonder. As he grew into music more during his high school years he joined various singing groups, talent shows and school theatre shows which gave him the opportunity to explore different sides to the arts, but his love for RnB, hip hop and popular music always drew him back to singing and writing.
During his last year at high school he entered the talent quest and won first place in 2 categories, singing and instrumentalist. Right then he knew what he wanted to do.
He decided to enrol into excel school of performance art’s as a vocal major and also minored in dance, music production and drama. The 2nd year he was chosen to tour with the school promoting an original play which went on the road for around 30 weeks during the school year. This is where Vince also had the opportunity to learn about sound & lighting rigs & the logistics of travelling and setting up a show.
