David Cross Idukomose, known as Kwate, D.Kross, and Kwate Master, hails from Edo State, Nigeria, and currently resides in United States. He is a versatile hip hop artist blending captivating elements of hip hop, dancehall, and Afro rhythms, earning him acclaim on the international stage.

Kwate's musical journey traces back to his childhood in Edo State, blossoming further after relocating to Lagos in 1998. His career took flight in 2010 with the release of the smash hit "Party Dey Here," featuring Side One, dominating airwaves, clubs, and streets across Nigeria and solidifying his name in households nationwide. Following this triumph, Kwate struck gold again with "Baby Give Me More," featuring Jaywon of Kennis Music, in 2011.

Collaborating with esteemed producers like Sheyman, O' Black, Fliptyce Beats, Spanky, and Terry G, Kwate showcases his diverse musical palette. Beyond catchy beats, his music carries meaningful messages, earning him admiration for his conscious and reality-based approach.

Kwate's impact extends globally, earning nominations for the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) and the African Entertainment Awards Malaysia in 2010/2011. As a trailblazer, Kwate secured Malaysia's first callertune deal with a leading telecommunications company. Collaborating with international stars like Prince Dave (Malaysia) and Bennie Man, and receiving requests from luminaries like Mary J. Blige (USA), solidifies his global influence.

Kwate's music transcends borders, with "Baby Give Me More" becoming a national anthem in Nigeria and gaining significant traction in Malaysia.
