“My Sound Can’t really be defined.” Dorren Pierre Rennis, (Dorren Pierre), is a Springfield, Massachusetts native who comes from a family where music has always been their passion. From writing raps at a young age with his older brother, and playing around on the piano with his younger brother, to producing beats with his friends after school in the music lab, Dorren Pierre has always had a unique love for music.
Being half Jamaican, Dorren Pierre has gotten much of his musical influence from artists like Buju Banton and Bob Marley. You can hear some reggae beats and patois included in his music, a way for him to pay a little homage to his Jamaican roots. He has also gotten his influence from other artists like Kanye, Jay-Z, Kid Cudi and Big Sean.
