I was Born on the 26th of December, to a nigerian parents. (Mr & mrs George Onyekwere) George Morris kaanyino, popularly known as Afrikahwrld, discovered his passion for music when he was 5 years old.
Citing the Legendary singer 'Lucky Dube' as his role model. The result of this early influence is evident in his easy-going, yet soulful lyrical prowess.
With a fierce charismatic and naturally gifted personality, Afrikahwrld won numerous singing and dancing competitions in Warri delta state . Yet he met discouragement from his parents who wanted him to become a barrister , not a Musician. However, this wouldn't deter him. It only fuelled his passion.
Drawing inspiration from personal experiences, this undoubtedly became the genesis of his unique Afro-emotional creative form.
Afrikahwrld felt it was time to take his sound, beyond the shores of The Garden City to the world stage. This is where passion meets ambition....more
