Los Tre

"Los Tre" is a trio based in Athens, Greece. The band was formed in 2012 by Angelos Angelides in guitar, Vassilis Papastamopoulos in bass and Leandros Fratnik in drums. "Los Tre" are always exploring their sound and their groove, and are experimenting with odd meters. Influences range from jazz, funk, music of Near East, African music, Greek traditional music and psychedelic music of the 70's. A band with a continuous presence performing in small or larger venues mainly in Athens and periodically in other Greek cities (Patra, Kalamata, Larissa,Thesaloniki etc) making their audience groovy and happy. Los Tre have already released four albums, both self-financed . All four of them with original compositions. The band has shared the stage with eminent artists of the Greek and international jazz scene such as, Thodoris Rellos (Mode Plagal etc), Angelos Polychronou and Jim Staridas, who also recorded as guests in the band’s third album. They have also shared the stage with Dimitris Kollias, Dimitris Kakavoulis, Yiannis Poupoulis and Remi Foucrier. In August 2016 "Los Tre" performed at the 8th Jazz Fest in Tinos.
