Hey There. My name’s Josh King. I sing, I write songs, and I play guitar. I just turned 23 and I’ve spent the last 5 years trying to find my sound. I went from knowing how to play 4 chords on an acoustic to trying to be John Mayer, to finding my love for pop music. I love songs that kinda want to make you cry, but want to make you dance at the same time. I love how pop can seem so simple, yet when you break it down there’s so much going on. And of course, I love the opportunity to tell a story that you might relate to (hopefully not too much though, cause there’s some sad stuff going down in these songs). Lyrics are key.
I also went to America. I wrote songs. I came back. I wrote more songs. I worked with a small group of individuals to find the right way to say what I have to say. We found it. It starts with '116' - out now.
