In 2009 he discovered multi-platinum star Stromae and was the first to break the famous hit ‘Alors On Danse’ (Kanye West was featured on the remix). Over the years he has transferred his savoir-faire from the DJ booth to the music studio.
Mastering his production palette and cultivating collaborations with artists across the globe, which already includes Redman, Bunji Garlin, Konshens to name a few. In 2013 he founded BSSMNT, a group of DJ’s and music producers whose first single “In The Air” (featuring Bunji Garlin) was sampled by Skrillex & Diplo on their project ‘Jack Ü’. The title “Jungle Bae” was part of the album that went on to win a Grammy Award in 2016.
Driven by his bold nature and entrepreneurial spirit, Jay Psar continues to diversify his musical undertakings as an accomplished DJ, producer and founder of the avant-garde label ‘Dropout Music’.
