Rosemarie Grant best known by her stage name Summer Roze is a Miami born multi-disciplined Artist of Jamaican decent.
Summer Roze has been writing music all her life and recently found her natural place in the studio to record her own words to rhythms of many influences, mainly Jamaican dancehall.
Many artistes struggle to establish their musical identity, trying on different musical styles like a piece of clothing, to find what fits. But then there are others that emerge fully formed, in full command of their craft, their identity and their music. Summer Roze fits firmly in the latter category. Her genres include her natural roots of reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, and techno-dance music which only reflects her versatility.
She is more than just an artiste, she’s a performer. Her musical influences include Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Vybz Kartel, Donna Summers and Aaliyah. Her creative mind has given life to Popular songs like "Bumpa", which is a fun sexy summer song, and her now hit single "Batty Rider", loved by the industry and fans worldwide. Batty Rider has a 90s feel but still very much current energy.
