Kuri began writing raps around 10 years old, with major influence from family artists including his uncle T-Bounce, as well as his older cousin Sosa Bread. Kuri was fascinated by different styles of poetry, and keeps those methods in mind when writing his verses. Music became more of a pursuit for Kuri in 2019, and he is now a member of a collective of friends named the "Cactus Crew".
