Born and raised in Oyo state, Michael Olamide Adewole, also knows as MK is an artiste whose music carries a smooth balance between storytelling, emotions, and lifestyle. He defines his sound as "Afro World" which explores the global concept behind World music with its cultural diversity, fusing it with original Afrobeats.
Though he didn't grow up singing in churches, he grew up in a family of music lovers. With his dad as a gospel musician and his brother a producer, music has always been an inevitable path for him. He draws deep inspiration from notable music legends like Burna Boy, Chris Brown, Olamide, Fireboy DML, amongst many others.
He's currently in Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, studying Plant genetics, but to him forging a career in music is more probable, and with his consistency and hard-working spirit, he keeps getting better everyday, making melodious sounds.
His debut single, "Life of The Party" with Samie Cruzy, has been doing well before its release, and now that it's out on all platforms, the acceptance has been mind-blowing. It all started as a freestyle, but now everybody's in love with it.
MK hopes and wishes his music career gets the recognition it deserves both home and abroad, and with his determination coupled with his mother's prayers and every single one who loves his sounds, he knows that the sky is just the beginning....more
