I feel like music is the only way I've ever really been able to get love, and It's funny to say, but I don't think I really have much to offer anyone outside of songwriting and performing. Before I started playing in bands and writing with people, things were honestly pretty bleak. I had to work hard at making friends and fitting in. I spent a lot of time alone when I was younger, and I still enjoy being alone, so when I'm out around people I worry that I’m overdoing it. Music probably saved me from a very different path, and when I can tell that I'm failing in some aspects of life it continues to keep me afloat. Every time I sit down with an instrument, I'm at peace and I learn something new, and I don't get that feeling anywhere else.
