How far? How you dey? Wetting dey happen? If you haven't picked up on it, these sayings tells you exactly who I am. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, music has been around me my entire life. As a child, I grew up in church and all I wanted to do was play instruments and be free with my music. The elders and congregation tried to quiet me and I would cry so much that the pastor said one Sunday, leave that child alone, he's operating in his gift. Fast forward years later of exploring music, Mr. Khalaba was born. I'm a artist in every sense of the word. Writer, producer, composer, I play most instruments. I'm self-taught. This is the gift God gave me and what I know how to do. Music in its most basic sense is a joyful sound so whether I'm infront of the mic or behind it, I'm doing the work that I was assign to do on this Earth. With my music, you will hear Afrobeat and House influences amongst other genres that express how I feel. I won't box myself in to a specific genre, so I'll say my music falls unto the category of good music. Experience this journey with me as I explore sounds.
