MYTHM is the vision of Vancouver bass music producer Mikey Miele. Over the last year, MYTHM has helped fortify the growth of the experimental bass scene on the west coast. No stranger to experimentation, MYTHM incorporates both analog and modular gear into his sound design. The result is a landscape of eerie atmospheres, hefty percussion, rupturing basslines, and hypnotic melodies. MYTHM has released his work on respected labels, such as SATURATE! RECORDS, Sleeveless Records and Aufect, and has had notable performances at Emissions Festival and Curiosity Music Festival. Since launching the project in January of 2019, MYTHM has received support from the likes of Zed’s Dead, Stylust, Subtronics, Peekaboo, and Digital Ethos. Consistently head first in his craft, MYTHM leaves no room for stagnancy as he lives for the endless possibilities and boundaries that have yet to be pushed....more
